Eastern Carolina Homelessness Organization

Eastern Carolina Homelessness Organizaiton (ECHO is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporartion that brings together homeless shelter, housing and supportive service providers to create and maintain a "Continuum of Care" for homeless persons and families. ECHO existed as two separate homeless coalitions: Total Care for the Homeless Coalition (TCHC) and Homeless Coalition of the Pee Dee (HCPD) prior to their merger in June of 2010.

We currently have over 60 members representing nearly 50 agencies that provide a wide range of services to the homeless. These services include:

  • Homeless/Emergency Shelter
  • Transitional Housing
  • Permanent, Supportive Housing
  • Supportive Services:
    • Emergency food
    • Meals
    • Clothing
    • Medical services
    • Mental health services
    • Rental and utility assistance
    • And many other services...
